Elective care reimagined – designing the pathway to 92% RTT by 2029

In association with

Thursday 24th April 11.00 -11.45 am

This is a promotional webinar, organised by Feedback Medical in conjunction with HSJ and is fully funded by Feedback Medical.

This webinar examines how trusts and ICBs are going to need to more radically redesign elective care models to meet the 92% national referral to treatment (RTT) target without additional resources. Government’s elective reform plan proposed a number of solutions including specialist advice and guidance, triage, patient-initiated follow-up and straight-to-test pathway approaches.

As demonstrated within the Sussex Integrated Care System, 5-6 times more activity can be achieved through asynchronous working, straight-to-test pathways and by integrating healthcare IT systems seamlessly across primary and secondary via community diagnostic centres. By redesigning the outpatient model it has diverted up to 90% of patients away from unnecessary outpatient appointments and reduced patient wait times by 63% compared to the national 18-week RTT target for breathlessness patients.

Speakers Include:

Dr Ian Francis, Clinical SRO for Diagnostics and CDC programme, Sussex ICS

Dr Tom Oakley, Chief Executive Officer, Feedback Medical
